The Good Sound was started by two mates with a simple vision: make good sound easy, and make it look good at the same time. With a combined 30+ years involvement with sound for concerts, events, functions and weddings our experience has taught us a few things:

• Events are often ruined by crappy sound. We’ve all been at events where you can’t hear what’s being said. If it happens at a corporate event it is frustrating and unprofessional. If it happens at a wedding it can mean a dream day is ruined. We know that it can and should be so easy to get it right. We’re here to help you avoid that heartache.
• Sound systems are ugly. Speakers are generally huge and overbearing as they sit on big tripod stands with cables in all directions. For some events these systems are necessary, but for most weddings and functions they simply aren’t, but they ruin the photos nonetheless.
• Sound systems are often poorly matched for the task. Sound systems are typically either poor quality and ugly, such as those you might get from a party hire company. Or they come with a big price tag and a live sound engineer to operate them. There’s a place for all of this. For the average 21st, big, rugged, loud, and ugly is perfect. For big music gigs a full PA with a professional engineer is the only way to go. But for 90% of weddings and corporate functions something much simpler, more stylish, and higher quality is called for.
